Description:  Being surrounded by a dozen Native American Pueblo Tribes, is a constant reminder of their cultures and histories. Its also a huge inspiration. This drawing is of the Kachina Hemis who represents happiness of a successful harvest, they represent the bridge between the spirit world and mortals. There are 250 different Kachinas each with its own attributes, ranging from animals to abstract concepts. The background are ancient petroglyphs, from photos I took when visiting the Navajo Nation Reservation.
